This webinar updates listeners on the current education policy at the federal level, including an overview of the current fiscal climate, update on the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), and recently launched and announced federal programs on Early Learning and Teacher Education Reform. Creative Community Engagement

This webinar begins the national dialogue around sustaining community engagement for cradle to career civic infrastructures. Participants will hear from practitioners across several communities who will share lessons learned, and examples of creative and authentic community engagement practices. We will share a new venture concept launching in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky to create aspiration around community engagement. The concept, technology (in beta) and launch plan will be shared. Feedback and builds on the concept are heavily encouraged, as well as sharing organizational interest in bringing the venture to other cities.

Convening and Incubating Networks of Providers around Priority Strategies

Participants will hear from expert facilitators who work with networks of providers and system leaders in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky to develop coordinated and data-driven action plans using the Strive Six Sigma continuous improvement process. They will share best practices and lessons learned on a process to convene and incubate networks of partners that may not have worked together in the past or had the experience of using data together to improve outcomes for children.

Learning Partner Dashboard: Aligning Data Systems for Student Support

This Webinar will provide participants with an overview of the Cincinnati Learning Partner Dashboard, a web-based application that we have been developing in Cincinnati, which links data from community providers with the school district. It aims to both help connect students to the resources they need and encourage data-informed decision making with access to more comprehensive data.
