Milwaukee Succeeds' report includes feedback from more than 300 community groups and invites more people to join their cradle to career initiative.

Chapter 01 highlights the dynamic work happening throughout the Portland, Oregon area partnership, sharing progress and early results generated through the collaborative efforts. In her New York Times' Letter to the Editor, Nancy Zimpher responds to Thomas L. Friedman's column, "It's Still Halftime in America," in which Friedman asserts that all children should be guarenteed educational opportunities and that our country needs a map to get us there. Zimpher's response is that Strive offers that education roadmap, and that what we need is a national committment to using it.
